Definition of
an Accredited Investor-
Who May Invest
with us:
The
Opportunity Investment, LLC sponsors and manages real estate investment
opportunities for small groups of "Accredited" Investors. To
qualify as an "Accredited" Investor, an individual or entity
must meet ONE of the following criteria:
For an
Individual:
· An individual who, together with the individual's spouse, has a net worth in
excess of $1,000,000 (including home, furnishings and automobiles), OR;
· An individual who had gross income in excess of $200,000, or joint income
with spouse in excess of $300,000, for each of the last two years and
reasonably expects to have gross income of $200,000, or joint income in excess
of $300,000, for the current year.
For an Entity:
· Be a bank, savings and loan association, a broker-dealer, an insurance
company, a registered investment company, or a licensed Small Business
Investment Company, OR;
· Be an employee benefit plan with total assets in excess of $5,000,000, OR;
· A self-directed employee benefit plan, whose investment decisions are made solely
by accredited investors, OR;
· Be a not-for-profit organization described in Section 501(c)(3) with total
assets in excess of $5,000,000, OR;
· Be a trust with total assets in excess of $5,000,000, if the investment is
directed by a person who has such knowledge and experience in financial and
business matters that he or she is capable of evaluating the merits and risks
of the proposed investment, OR;
